
Pormal na pinanumpa sa tungkulin si Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr., chairman ng senate committee on local government at committee on urban planning, housing and resettlement, ang mga bagong halal napamunuan ng Philippine Water Works Association na ginanap sa gusali ng Senado kamakailan.
Isinulong sa Senado nag pagtatag ng Department of Housing and Urban Development (DHUD) upping tugunan ang problem sa pabahay.
Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also questioned Morales how she was able to get the report of the AMLC without a court order.
”I think we should ask the Ombudsman if this is the new policy? Is this a new doctrine that in fact on the basis of the complaint that the Ombudsman can already gain the information from the AMLC and publicize that information?” Marcos asked.
Sen. Bongbong Marcos noted that there are now several ways in which seemingly anonymous documents end up in the hands of the prosecution.
He recalled the “small lady” who allegedly gave documents to Oriental Mindoro 2nd Rep. Reynaldo Umali and the unknown source who gave the same documents to Quezon City 3rd District Rep. Jorge “Bolet” Banal.
Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. asked how Morales acquired the information on Corona’s alleged dollar accounts and why she was allowed to release it.
“Is there a new doctrine that in fact, that on the basis of a complaint, the Ombudsman can already gain the information from the AMLC and publicize that information?” Marcos said.
